Young, but pretty much.

Actually I bought it to turn into an infrared camera. Worked briefly and developed a short... it’ll work, but it eats batteries.

Nope, just wanted to try it out. Only works with IR illumination or stuff that’s really hot though.

I was going to turn one of these into an IR illuminator by replaceing the LED’s with IR LED’s but I’ve never gotten around to it... partly because I know exactly jack about electronics.
